Rockies Game

Zach, Uncle Jameson and Grandpa took Mason on a little boys night out to a Rockies game. He told me he got to meet the mascot Dinger the Dinosaur and that he got to hug him. He was more excited about his Rockie Dog, popcorn and soda he got to have.

He brought home some lovely souvenirs, the classic foam finger and a Peyton Melon cracker, I mean mini wooden baseball bat.

Bolder Boulder 2009

Stephanie and I did the Bolder Boulder 10k this morning and it was so fun. I have never seen so many people running at one time. There are something like 65,000 runners. I finished it 61:40 and Steph finished in 60:52. Our goal was to finish in under 60 minutes so we didn't make it but we did improve from our last 10k times. So, yay us!

Aggie Picnic

There was a Utah State Alumni in Colorado Picnic last Saturday. It was fun to get in our Aggie gear and reminisce about the good ol' Aggie Village days.

Potty Time

So Peyton tricked me into thinking she was ready to start potty training. For about a week she was staying dry through her naps and a few times through the night and then peeing in the potty when she woke up (with my prompting and help) But since I took these photos I must have jinxed it because now she decided that she doesn't want to anymore. But it still gives me hope because Mason didn't even sit on the potty for the first time until he was 2 1/2. It was cute while it lasted.

Garden of the Gods

Stephanie and I did a 5 mile race on Saturday in the Garden of the Gods. I didn't want to run with my camera so I just got these off the internet. It was a really pretty run but really hard because it was mostly up hill. It was freezing cold and you couldn't see the rock formations until you were right up there because of all the fog/mist. We set ourselves a goal of 53 minutes which is a lot for a five miler but we wanted to give ourselves some leeway for the hills. We finished in 51:32(Steph) and 51:47(me) It was a lot of fun.

Easter Pics

Easter was a lot of fun. We had two egg hunts, one with the ward and one with the neighborhood. It was the sixth annual neighborhood egg hunt but our first. The ward one said to bring six eggs per child. So I followed the same guidelines for the neighborhood one. I felt pretty lame when Stephanie showed up with a laundry basket full of eggs and I had a gallon ziploc bag full. I've learned my lesson for next year though. It was sooooooo cold that day and really windy, the eggs were blowing all over the place.

Fraud

So, I check our bank account online and our balance seems a lot lower than it should and I look through the charges and there are three check card purchases from gas stations in Florida totaling 237 dollars. WHAT THE HECK!!!!??? I called the bank and they said that someone swiped Zach's card at these gas stations or created a fake card with Zach's card #. We filed a claim and they said it is pretty likely that we will get our money back. This is so scary. I have never had anything like this happen before. I am so scared that there are going to be more charges showing up. I'm glad it didn't over draw our account or anything. So, anyway, pray for us that this will get taken care of!
