Weston at four months old

On Weston's four month birthday he cut his first two teeth and he tried rice cereal for the first time. He was definitely more interested in eating his bib.

Other end of summer stuff

Peyton and Weston are best buddies.
Allison and Eli came to visit. Jenna (my daycare baby girl) wasn't sure what to think of Eli. They are total opposites. Jenna just sits in one spot and barely makes a sound. Eli never stops moving. But they had a good time on the porch swing. I think Jenna even started to fall asleep.
Weston started to love his exersaucer.
Mason was on a soccer team through the Recreation center. We didn't realize that it was a coed team, so he had little four year old girls on his team, which made things kind of interesting.
The kids earned free Rapids tickets through the reading program at the library, so Zach took them to the game while Mom stayed home with Weston.

Back to School

In August Mason started first grade and Peyton started her second year of preschool with Mrs. Tucker. Mason now gets to take the bus to school, which he loves. And Peyton has afternoon preschool so I have a quiet house for nap time in the afternoon.

Summer Fun

Weston spent most of the summer hanging out in his diaper staring at the toys in his play gym
The kids also had a great time playing with the slip and slide and plastic pool or as I like to call it , the "White Trash Water Park"

Uncle Spencer came to visit, we went to Garden of the Gods. Weston had a great time sleeping in the Moby wrap.

The kids figured out that if you spin your bike tire in the gutter, it sprays water...hours of fun. Picking weeds, grandma told him he would get a dollar if he filled up the bucket. We really didn't do very many fun things over the summer since Weston was so little. Hopefully next summer we'll be able to have a few more adventures.

4th of July

We went to our Ward Bike Parade/Breakfast in the morning. Peyton rode her big girl bike this year. Even though she says "its hard to pedal with chicky legs." Next came the annual Leak Family 5k. Or as I like to call it "a huge reminder how out of shape I am." Then we had a BBQ and Kevin and Jeanne's. I didn't even get to see any fireworks. Zach stayed up with the kids to watch them and I came home to put Weston to bed. Oh well, there's always next year.

Weston's Blessing

We blessed Weston on July 3rd. Surprisingly he was calm and quiet throughout his blessing and he didn't spit up on anyone! Jameson, Spring and Atticus, Alisa, Mark and Maela and Grandpa and Grandma and Allene were all in attendance. Alisa was able to write down the highlights of what Zach said in the blessing so we can remember.
