So we had a fun night last night at the ER. We were playing outside at Grandma's house and Peyton comes up to me and says "wock my nose...ow" So I look inside and sure enough, she had shoved a pebble up her nose. We tried to get her to blow it out by plugging one nostril and telling her to blow. But that didn't work because she doesn't know how to blow her nose, she kept sucking it further in. There is an urgent care physician in our ward, so I called him but he and his wife were out for the night. It was 7 pm on a Saturday so our only choice was the ER. The doctor says that this happens so often that there is a special tool invented just for removing objects from childrens noses. She totally lost her mind when we had to hold her down to remove it but they gave her a cup of apple juice with a straw right after so she recovered quickly. The rock was so much bigger than I thought it was. I was really surprised she actually fit it up her tiny button nose. It was kind of triangle shaped and about an inch long and a half inch wide at the top. I should have brought the rock home from the ER so I could take a picture but the doctor threw it away. She refuses to take off her hospital bracelet because its "pwetty."
